I don't drink much these days - but I was a big beer snob in my 20s. I like pretty much any kind of beer now with the exception of IPAs (lots of people like them but I think they are super-gross). But I think it's like anything similar; it's a very acquired taste. Like I hate wine but my husband loves it and said he hated wine when he first started drinking it too, until he got used to it.
