Me too! I was a smart kid and I knew that was I was doing was probably something I would get in trouble for, but I really didn't realize the true possible ramifications. What if the carpet had actually caught? An eight-year-old and a nine-year-old wouldn't have been able to extinguish that easily, and we weren't even prepared with water or anything in case something went wrong. But I also looked up to my friend and thought that he knew what he was doing and that everything would be okay. Thankfully, everything was okay, but I never made that mistake again!
