Thank you! My friend Kim's daughter is very much the same way with her FOMO, and I'm sure I was the same way, too. It's kind of cute if not a teensy bit annoying lol.
I actually felt a little bad for poor baby Andrea - she was just in one of those baby backpacks with not hat or any sort of sun covering, and the very start of the trail (where she was fussing) had no shade really; I don't blame her for being a baby about it!
Most of the dogs I saw (and there were a lot of them!) were on-leash, since that's the rule at the state park, but on my way back out I came across a big group of people with two HUGE dogs off-leash. Thankfully those dogs were good enough to not come up to me or anything but that did rub me the wrong way, especially since I make every effort when I take my dog out to make sure he stays on his leash and doesn't try to love every stranger that walks by!
