I'm definitely trying to temper the creepiness throughout all of the pieces - I don't want this collection to come across as highly cynical or defeatist. But I also think it's fun to amp it up a little bit sometimes. :) I've always been a huge techie, but as I get older I feel myself losing touch with newest stuff and not caring so much about getting the latest and greatest gadget. I can't imagine going 10 years without any sort of technology and then coming back into it and trying to know anything!
(I'm also a few weeks away from leaving the company I've worked for for fifteen years and starting something brand new, and... well, I'm terrified that I'm going to find myself like Henry here!)
