AAARGH!!! The creepiness of this 'Verse is really subtle and then it suddenly becomes overwhelming. What a perfect twist, S! I have a running list of tech angst that I or friends/family have experienced and sometimes it's funny and other times it's a tragedy. You really captured that here.
