Thank you :) It's funny, when I was imagining this world, I hadn't really given much thought to this particular section of it. I was very much in a "tech dystopia" frame of mind, but once I started getting more bits and pieces of this part of the world, it was a lot more interesting to me. I hope to continue fleshing things out more, but you're right on the money with what my idea basically is - this particular section of the world has gone downhill, but people are banding together into small communities and putting in the work to make life livable.
